Jo Isgrigg is OHWI's Executive Director. One thing we know for sure, she's passionate about making sure people have access to health care, especially access the right health care provider when needed. Using data to inform decisions, Dr. Isgrigg uses collaborative models to engage stakeholders in developing sustainable solutions to Oregon's health care workforce needs. She holds a Ph.D. in Public Administration and Policy from Portland State University, as well as a Master of Public Administration and Bachelor of Science degrees from the University of Alaska. Dr. Isgrigg has worked in the health and long-term care industry, in the private and public sector, legislative and regulatory arenas, and academic settings. She also serves as adjunct faculty at Portland State University.
CHAD JOHNSON, MPH
Chad Johnson leads OHWI's research and program evaluation division. Chad's passion is supporting a transforming health care system to improve health care quality, access, and patient and population health outcomes while keeping health care affordable. He's a master at evaluating health workforce development and education programs and encouraging new, innovative education models and delivery methods. Chad is adept at finding the best information in large datasets to inform strategic and public policy decisions regarding Oregon's health care workforce. He has held research positions at Oregon Health & Science University, the John A. Burns School of Medicine, and the Cancer Center at the University of Hawaii. Chad is in a doctoral program at Portland State University. He received his MPH degree from Portland State University and a Bachelor's degree from Albion College in Michigan.
